If you’re new around here, you may not know how I celebrate Throwback Thursday! Every Thursday, I highlight a specific project I made a while ago. It might be as recent as a couple months, or as old as a few years. It is simply a project you’ve never seen from me, or at least haven’t seen in a long time. I started doing it because I wanted to have a good reason to share my older projects with you, since I just started my YouTube channel this past May. I hope you keep reading about this week’s project, and check out the YouTube video! I also have a playlist for all my Throwback Thursday Episodes on my channel, so be sure to check that out if you haven’t already ;)
This week’s project:
This week’s project is the Worsted Sanguine Sweater by Morgan of Morthunder! Oh man, I LOVE this sweater. I had the pleasure of test knitting this sweater almost exactly a year ago.
It is a top down, circular yoke, fully colorwork sweater. But don’t let that scare you...it is also so easy! Morgan has written the pattern in such a way that it is beyond easy to follow, and customize ;)
For both of my Sanguine sweaters, I used various colors of I Love This Yarn and Crafter’s Secret from Hobby Lobby. Tune in to the video to hear more about them...I feel these sweaters encapsulate my color palette perfectly.
Would I make this project again?
Well, I have already made two...but YES. I just love these sweaters so much! Morgan does have DK and Bulky weight versions of this pattern too, so I am thinking I might make one of those first. But I totally plan on making another worsted one one day!
Fun fact: I knit my second one (the gray and white one) in just FOUR days! I set the challenge for myself...and I can’t wait to accomplish it again. ;)
Until next time,
