I am so excited about this new design!
I have continued reading through the New Testament since reading Colossians, and I am now in 2 Timothy. A verse in Chapter 1 really stood out to me as I was reading it the other night, and I wanted to share it with you.
Verse 7 of Chapter 1 says, “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” I LOVE this verse. Not only does it show in words what God really gave us, but it also tells and directs to be confident in how God made us, and in what He gave us. How beautiful is that?
For some confidence is a hard trait to maintain, and for others it might come more naturally. Let me encourage you with this: If God himself is directing us to be confident, then shouldn’t we? I encourage you to ask Him for help. Pray for confidence. Read other parts of the Bible to see what confidence looks like as a Christian!
None of us are perfect, and I encourage you to always rely on Him.
Until next time,
Amy Kate <3
