Twenty Four Threads Sock Collab
So beyond thrilled about this collaboration! I am partnering with Twenty Four Threads (Lauren, a pattern designer and yarn dyer!) to create this beautiful kit. More details coming soon.
Slowly but surely making progress on this blanket design with Brava Worsted!
I am completely obsessed with this project, and it is taking a ridiculous amount of restraint to avoid *just* working on it! Another column of squares is complete this week!
This week I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about creation. Man, it is just beautiful. God is so creative, and I love being able to enjoy his work every single day.
We recently traveled to Gulf Shores, AL to visit family, and they have the cutest little botanical area in this little town. It is literally on the side of the road, but is surrounded by sidewalk. Mom and I went on many walks, and I could honestly spend ALL day just in this little section. It was absolutely beautiful. There were so many types of flowers, but also herbs! My family has been doing *lots* of yard work the past few months, and we have a garden this summer. We now also want to place raised beds, just like the ones in Gulf Shores!
Creation is something that is really easy to take advantage of, underappreciate, or simply look past. I encourage you to go on a little walk, watch the sunrise/sunset, or simply sit on the porch for a bit and take it in. Admire God’s handiwork!
I also talked about a little life update, recapped our recent vacation, and chatted about school starting back next week!
Until next time,
Amy Kate <3
