I’m so happy to be able to provide these show notes for y’all again this week. Of course, if you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact me!
Works in Progress
I’m officially obsessed with Toni of TL Yarn Craft’s patterns, and I am so excited to have learned a new stitch!
I have gotten a LOT of questions about my hooks lately, so here is the set I use and recommend!
I’m updating the Success Socks pattern and making this sample. Going so well!
Yarn: These are done! Stay tuned for an updated pattern soon!
I’ve been planning a design with this yarn since December, and it is FINALLY happening! I have made the decision to NOT release this pattern as a full, profitable design of mine since in this case, it isn’t very “unique”, but I will put the numbers and project details on the blog once it is complete.
I am SO excited to see this growing! It is amazing!
Yarn: Knit Picks Brava Tweed in Stratus
We are leaving on a trip this week, and I plan to bring socks and dishcloths!
Honestly, I wish I could talk for *hours* about life right now. I’m in a busy season yet a beautiful season. After so long after a really hard season and experience, I feel more confident in this season of singleness than I ever have, but I am also so hopeful that God is working *right now*, and that season won’t last. I’m in my last semester of college, and I’m in a job right now that is simply a dream and the best opportunity God could have given me. My business and community are growing, and I’m learning daily how to work through them fully devoted to Him.
There are a LOT of hard and confusing moments that aren’t mentioned in that paragraph. A lot. Those moments will always be there, but because of His love we can be firmly grounded and confident in His never ending love and grace for His children.
Hebrews 12:1-3 encourages me through this. Let me encourage you to run the race, live in the season if you will, that God has set out before you. I think I’ve mentioned it before on here, and I mentioned it in Small Group last week, be FULLY devoted in whatever season you’re in. That has hit me hard lately. Verse 2 says that we should fix our eyes on Jesus, who encountered a gruesome death (for us!) with joy and peace. James 1 tells us to count all our trials as joy and hold on to faith so we may be mature and complete and lacking nothing. I pray that you are encouraged!
