I’m so happy to be able to provide these show notes for y’all again this week. Of course, if you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact me!
I didn’t share these this week because I didn’t make lots of progress, but I will share more next week! Find the yarn I used here.
Works in Progress:
One pair done, another pair started! These will be for my sister’s bday in mid-march.
This pattern was released yesterday! I hope you enjoy making it :)
Slouchy Slipper Socks
Launching soon! Guys, I am so SO excited to release this pattern. These cozy socks are designed with beginner knitters in mind, and I will have a step by step video tutorial to go along with the pattern. Stay tuned!
While I am slightly ashamed to say how long it took me to get this design right, the coasters turned out great! Pattern and tutorial coming soon.
Oh my goodness I have been obsessed with this project this week! The garment is coming along so well.
My first ever modular crochet blanket! The polychromatic blanket is close…but not quite there. This blanket is created with individual squares that are later seamed together. The pattern won’t be released until April, but I am enjoying the process so much.
This new pattern is launching this weekend! I think it may be my favorite dishcloth design YET.
In many ways, it has been a heavy week. It is so evident that this world is broken, but it has been since the first sin. Maybe it's just that we’re more aware because of current technology and the like.
Regardless of what may be happening in the world around us, in the lives of those closest to us, or our own personal life, I encourage you to take heart because Jesus has overcome it all.
God is still on the throne. His ways are so much higher than our own. His purposes will still prevail, and his promises are still true. We’ll experience trials, but we never have to experience them alone.
A lot of things currently can lead to fearful thoughts. Here is a link to a little post I found containing Bible Verses about fear. (side note…if there is ever a topic you want peace about but don’t know *where* to look in the Bible, google!) The list is so powerful, but my favorite was the very bottom. The “verse” combines 1 Peter 5:7 and Romans 8:28, which are two of my favorite verses. It says; ”We can rest in the fact that nothing takes our sovereign God by surprise. Take your fears, worries, and anxieties before God because He cares about them and He desires your good.”
I hope this little devotional brought encouragement and peace. Rest in Him always!
Until next time,
Amy Kate <3
