It’s Pattern Release Day!
If you’re new around here, you may or may not know one of my biggest 2020 goals. For the year of 2020, I decided to challenge myself to release on pattern every single week. Let me tell you...this is a lofty goal. But so far I have stuck to it, and I am so proud of myself! Throughout this journey, I have completely fallen in love with design knit and crochet patterns. It is absolutely amazing to be able to dream up a pattern, make it, write it, and then PUBLISH it as your own. The feeling is one I will always remember. And thankfully, one that I continue to live!
This week’s pattern is very special. The Perfectly Emily Crocheted Blanket was originally designed for my little sister, Emily. It is exactly how she is: funny and cute, spunky and beautiful. She absolutely loves it, and I hope you do too!
I absolutely love the color palette I chose for this blanket! It is KnitPicks/WeCrochet Brava Worsted. I used three skeins each of Persimmon, Denim, and Mulberry, and one skein of Cobblestone Heather for the border. I have a video review for this yarn here, and a blog post all about it here! It is one of my absolute favorite yarns, and I have used it SO many times!
Also...I have a full video tutorial available for you to use as a guide throughout this pattern! Be sure to check it out if you are at all confused about anything in the pattern ;) In fact, this is the first time I have ever uploaded TWO videos in one day: The Release Video and the Tutorial!
I am so excited to finally be releasing this pattern, and I hope you love it! Use the code “loud” (in true Emily fashion) to download this pattern for FREE on Ravelry...for a very limited time only!
Until next time,
