Pattern Release: Blips of Fall Cowl

It’s pattern release day!

If you’re new here, you may or may not know one of my biggest 2020 goals. For the year of 2020, I decided to challenge myself to release one pattern every single week. Let me tell you...this is a lofty goal. But so far I have stuck to it, and I am so proud of myself! Throughout this journey, I have completely fallen in love with designing knit and crochet patterns. It is absolutely amazing to be able to dream up a pattern, make it, write it, and then PUBLISH it as your own. The feeling is one I will always remember. And thankfully, one that I continue to live!

The pattern:

I am totally in love with how this cowl turned out...but also the stitch pattern! I am kinda proud of myself actually. It is sort of a blend between mosaic knitting and fair isle. I just love how much you can do with knitting!

Speaking of the stitch pattern, you can do it! Yes it is unique, but guys, it is also so simple. I have added a little clip of me showing you how to work the 12 round repeat into the pattern release video. Be sure to check that out if you need that visual! I have also included a clip of me showing you how to bind off and seam the cowl in that same video. It is jam-packed with so much information that I hope helps you out!

The yarn:

For this design, I used KnitPicks Chroma Twist Bulky in the colorways Wednesday (how appropriate ;P) and Vermont. I LOVE these colors together, and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it! It took a few tries...but I am so happy I persevered. I just love it!

Download the pattern:

I hope you love this cowl as much as I do! Be sure to download the pattern on Ravelry, and use the code “fall” to get it for FREE! And again, if you need that visual aid the video is here, and linked in the pattern. Again, I want to help as much as and whenever possible, so don’t hesitate to contact me!
