KnitPicks Wooden Rainbow Needle Set Review
This gorgeous interchangeable needle set has become a wonderful addition to my collection. View my thoughts below, and check out the full YouTube video here!
Pros of these needles:
The wood is SO smooth. The yarn doesn’t catch at all, and glides across the needle beautifully.
The sizes are laser printed (and engraved) into the needles, so they won’t rub off. Tune in to the video to see how I can relate to that and I why I love it so much.
The joins are impeccable. So often interchangeable sets are frowned upon because the yarn catches on the join, but these don’t have that issue at all!
Like most knitpicks needle sets, they are very affordable!
Great range of sizes.
So quiet when working, thanks to the wood!
Like all KnitPicks needle sets, they come with a case. Now, I don’t recommend storing them in this case long run because it isn’t super durable, but KnitPicks also carries awesome needle cases. I suggest checking them out. This one is my personal favorite, and this one is perfect for one set!
The biggest pro about these needles is (let us be honest) the COLORS. They are so beautiful, and instantly light up any project! Perfect for summery knits I might add, like the project I showed in the video!
Cons:
The cons about these needles would be formed by YOU. If you like to knit very quickly, you might not enjoy these needles as much because wood naturally slows you down. Also, there is a higher possibility of them breaking or chipping because of the wood. Keep in mind though...this is simply part of having a wooden set of needles. It is not a bad thing, just something to consider.
I hope this little review was helpful for you! If you have any other questions about this needle set, don’t hesitate to message me! Also, let me know if there are any other needle sets/products you would like to see me review.
Until next time,
Amy Kate
