Join us for the #tgtdishclothmal in 2022! This dishcloth challenge is meant to encourage you to knit or crochet one dishcloth a week. It is a fun way to grow a collection of the best handmade dishcloths, and use them for yourself or gifts throughout the year. Enjoy this pattern!

It is not necessary to achieve a certain gauge for this dishcloth, but if you would like the same dimension as the sample I suggest checking.

This dishcloth is worked in rows. Be sure to turn your work after completing each row.
When finished and worked to pattern, this dishcloth measures 8 inches square. To make the dishcloth smaller/larger, simply work less/more increase rows. Note that any changes will affect your required yardage.
CO 3 sts
k1, kfb, k till end (42 sts)
k1, k2tog, k till end (3 sts)
Bind off all sts
Cut yarn, and weave in any ends.
Dishcloths aren’t typically in need of blocking, but feel free to do so. If you chose a 100% cotton yarn, I recommend simply washing these dishcloths in the washer and dryer just like clothes. They will last for years to come!
